ELS has over fifty (50) years of cumulative experience  the development, administration and delivery of small business financial, tax and business development services. Our extensive knowledge of public sector institutions enables us to provide approaches to problems that uphold the public trust and provide thoroughness and extensive accountability indicative of successful projects and planning. ELS is managed by Eric L. Sawyer who has successfully completed a multiple of loans and commercial transactions with various national financial institutions most notably GE Commercial Finance, GE Healthcare, Federal National Commercial, Commercial Finance Group. Moreover, ELS provides financial and tax services in conjunction with insurance, risk management and surety services with commercial carriers. Thus, ELS provides clients with a unique and comprehensive approach to their business and individual needs and objectives.

Eric L. Sawyer, Principal

Mr. Sawyer has over nineteen years of construction and development financing   experience and has held employment positions in investment banking and commercial lending  with an industry  focus  in manufacturing,  transportation and healthcare which include assisted living centers, medical office buildings, office condominiums, ambulatory surgical centers, hospitals and variety of other specialty centers such as renal care and dialysis centers.

Mr. Sawyer has provided contract financing and bonding assistance to businesses in Memphis, throughout the state of Tennessee and southeast region of the United States and the Virgin Islands. Between 1994-96, he was the West Tennessee Instructor for the NationsBank (Bank of America) “Small Business Success” courses held for small business lenders and entrepreneurs. He co-developed and implemented a $ 120 million annualized business-financing program for The City of Memphis, Tennessee Capital Improvements Projects in 1997 with PrinVest Financial Corporation. From 1999 to 2002, ELS was Business Development Consultant for the Tennessee Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration Program in Tennessee. 

Mr. Sawyer attended the University of Mississippi and completed his undergraduate education and training in International Relations and Political Science at the University of Memphis, where his graduate studies focused on economics, finance and political science.
